How to Stop Smoking Using Hypnosis

GET YOUR LUNGS BACK

Hypnotherapy
is a positive way
to stop smoking for ever!

The stopping smoking hypnosis session program will include Hypnotherapy techniques, positive affirmations and suggestions. At the end you will be given a stop smoking CD to take with you so that you can continue to reinforce the suggestions in your own time.

The tobacco user is addicted to the nicotine and certain chemicals in tobacco. This type of addition takes the brain, body cells and liver a minimum of 96 hours to completely reject. This rejection or withdrawal process causes chemical and physiological side affects which are most unpleasant. However, the withdrawal from addiction can only last up to 96 hours. Thereafter, any discomfort experienced from cessation of the use of tobacco is purely psychological. Most tobacco users are not aware of the fact that if they go 96 hours without use of tobacco they have un-addicted themselves to tobacco. All craving and urges to use tobacco after 96 hours is purely psychological.

Immediately after our client's have completed our hypnotherapy session, they are in a state of total relaxation, free from stress and stress induced pain such as headaches and muscle pain. They feel relieved of negative issues in their life which can only be remedied with forgiveness. Many of our clients are in a state of mind where they realizes they have a fresh start in life and may recreate their life to become what they want to be in a most wholesome and healthy manner (which includes not using tobacco products). This is an excellent mental platform on which to stand when eliminating addictive and habitual use of tobacco from one's behavior.

Why does everyone talk about hypnosis as the main tool to stop smoking and how does that affect you? Stopping smoking could much easier than you think.

Our program is a superb example of high-quality hypnosis and clever psychological approaches to help you beat smoking cravings: Many therapists offer a one-off session for smoking cessation with free follow-up sessions if necessary. A stop smoking consultation with a Hypnotherapist will generally involve gathering information into your personal reasons for wanting to quit smoking.

The stopping smoking session or sessions will include Hypnotherapy techniques, positive affirmations and suggestions. At the end you will often be given a stop smoking CD to take away so that you can continue to reinforce the suggestions in your own time. The cost of a hypnotherapy session for stopping smoking will be minimal compared to the financial and health costs incurred during a lifetime of smoking.

Quitting smoking should not be difficult or unpleasant. Granted nicotine is a difficult substance to go without when giving up smoking, but after a few days it is out of your system and most smokers agree that quitting smoking for a few days is difficult but very achievable.

So that's it! A tricky few days and then a lifetime of freedom. So why hasn't it been that easy previously? Simple - you didn't deal with the psychological addiction of smoking. In fact, you probably put cigarettes up on some kind of a pedestal.

If you think that stopping smoking is depriving you of something, then it is just a matter of time until you start again. Hypnotherapy is ideal for this. Using hypnosis, you can deal with all of the emotional and psychological aspects of giving up smoking.

Hypnotherapy has enjoyed a high success rate with smoking cessation and stopping smoking is one of the most common reasons why people consult a hypnotist or hypnotherapists. When quitting smoking, it best not to dwell on negative aspects such as ill health, but instead to aim for positive outcomes such as good health, fitness, freedom and energy.

Stopping smoking - What can you do?

Would you like to know how to stop smoking in a positive and easy way?

How about starting right now by making a list of all of the benefits you will enjoy as a non-smoker? Imagine yourself in the future, say six months time from now.

How good is it going to be when someone offers you a cigarette and you find yourself saying 'no thanks'? Perhaps you can imagine how proud you are going to feel and how positive you will be about yourself.

Hypnosis is not the mind control technique that is often represented on TV and in the media. In fact, you cannot make people do anything using hypnosis. Quite the opposite, if someone doesn't want to stop smoking, they will be even more definite about that in hypnosis! Did you realize people can lie in hypnosis as easily as they can out of hypnosis?

Perhaps you're not quite sure if you are ready to quit smoking but you'd like to consider the possibility.

If you find this helpful, we would strongly recommend that you consider booking your appointment today!. It has helped hundreds of people to stop smoking and to plan positive healthy lives.

Smoking may damage dad's sperm

The Ottawa Citizen
Monday, June 04, 2007

Here's one more reason not to smoke -- it may damage sperm, passing along genetic damage to a man's children, Canadian researchers report.

A study in mice shows that cigarette smoke caused changes in the DNA of sperm cells, the researchers said in this week's issue of the journal Cancer Research. Such mutations, know as germline mutations, are known to be permanent.

"If inherited, these mutations persist as irreversible changes in the genetic composition of offspring," said Ottawa-based researcher Carole Yauk, of Health Canada's Environmental and Occupational Toxicology Division, who led the study.

"We have known that mothers who smoke can harm their fetuses, and here we show evidence that fathers can potentially damage offspring long before they may even meet their future mate."

Ms. Yauk and colleagues studied the sperm-producing stem cells of mice exposed to cigarette smoke for either six or 12 weeks. All male mammals continuously produce sperm.

They found 1.7 times as many DNA mutations in the cells of the smoke-exposed mice as in those of the unexposed mice after 12 weeks, and 1.4 times as many mutations after six weeks.

"This suggests that damage is related to the duration of exposure, so the longer you smoke, the more mutations accumulate, and the more likely a potential effect may arise in the offspring," Ms. Yauk said.
